Identities that hold together, from logo to last frame.

We design brand identities and the systems behind them, keeping small business branding package cost realistic rather than enterprise-scale. For businesses that look different in every post and want that to stop. You get a mark, a palette, a type system, and rules simple enough for anyone on your team to follow.

IDENTITYSYSTEMSGUIDELINES

Starting at $600 see all tiers

What's included

  • Logo and wordmark — designed to survive small sizes, dark grounds, and bad printers.
  • Color and type system — a palette and typefaces with jobs, not just favorites.
  • Brand guidelines design service — a short, usable document; rules your team will actually follow.
  • Social and marketing templates — so the feed stays on-brand without a designer on call.
  • Print and packaging where needed — cards, stationery, labels, signage.
  • Logo design with source files included — vectors, exports, templates handed over. Nothing held hostage.

Questions

What's the difference between a logo and an identity?

A logo is one mark. An identity is the system around it — color, type, spacing, and rules — that keeps every post, page, and package looking like the same company. We design the system, not just the mark.

What files do we get?

Everything. Vector sources, print and screen exports, the guidelines document, and editable templates. No file is held back, and nothing requires our software to use.

We have a brand already. Refresh or rebrand?

Usually a refresh. If your mark has equity, we keep it and rebuild the system around it. We recommend a full rebrand only when the current identity actively works against you — and we'll show you why before you decide.

How many concepts and revisions are included?

The scope states it before we start — typically a small set of directions, then focused rounds on the chosen one. Fewer, better options beat twenty half-ideas.

Who owns the copyright to the final design?

You do, outright, on final payment, along with the editable source files. No licence terms, no per-use fees, and no going back to the designer to get a file released.

How long does an identity take?

It depends on how much of the system you need, so you get a written timeline with the quote within 24 hours rather than a guess here. A mark alone moves quickly; a full system with guidelines and applications takes longer because the applications are where most of the decisions actually get made.

Do you design for print as well as screen?

Yes. The identity is built to survive both, which is the reason for the vector source files and the guidelines. A mark that only works at screen resolution fails the first time somebody puts it on packaging or a signboard.

How much does a logo or brand identity cost?

Three tiers — from $600 for Logo Spark (a primary mark, secondary lockup, and usable files), from $1,800 for Brand Kit (logo system, color, type, and the rules to keep it consistent), from $4,000 for Full Identity (brand book, collateral, and templates your team can run with). Scope and revision depth move the number within a tier; send a brief for the exact quote in 24 hours.

Should I hire a designer or just use Canva or an AI logo generator?

For a quick social graphic, Canva is fine. For the mark that goes on your signage, your invoices, and everything else for years, a generator can't check whether it survives being small, dark, or badly printed, and it can't build the rules that keep every application consistent. Most businesses that hire us for the identity still use Canva day to day — on templates built specifically for that.

Do you design more than the logo — business cards, packaging, social templates?

Yes — print and packaging (cards, stationery, labels, signage) and social/marketing templates are part of what's included, so the feed and the storefront stay on-brand without a designer on call for every post.

What if I don't like any of the initial concepts?

The scope sets the number of directions up front, so this is rare — but tell us what's missing rather than what's wrong, and we go back to discovery on that specific point instead of guessing at more concepts blind.

Will you check that the logo isn't already trademarked?

We design an original mark rather than start from stock elements, which is the biggest safeguard, but we're not a law firm — a full trademark clearance search (USPTO or your local registry) is worth doing separately before you commit to using it publicly, and it's outside this scope.

Do we get the fonts used in our logo, or just the logo itself?

You get the logo as vector outlines, so it displays correctly without needing the font installed at all — the standard way logos are delivered, so you're never blocked by a font license. If you want the typeface for use elsewhere, like your website, we'll tell you which one it is and whether it needs its own license.

What's the risk of rebranding — will customers stop recognizing us?

It's real, which is why we default to a refresh rather than a rebrand whenever your current mark has any equity — keeping what customers already recognize and rebuilding the system around it. A full rebrand only gets recommended when the current identity is actively working against you, and we'll show you that argument before you commit to it, not after.

Is the identity design included if you're also building our website?

No — they're priced and scoped separately, but they work well together. If we're building the site, the identity from this page becomes its foundation; if the identity is done first, our web build uses it directly rather than reworking it.

How many rounds of revisions are actually included — a specific number?

The scope states an exact number before work starts, matched to the tier — Logo Spark gets fewer, focused rounds; Full Identity gets more because there's more to react to. That's deliberate rather than a single number published here, since a business-card revision and a full guidelines-document revision aren't the same unit of work.

Do you design for e-commerce or product packaging specifically?

Print and packaging work — labels, signage, packaging — is part of what's included when the business needs it; it's scoped alongside everything else rather than sold as a separate service.

Also worth knowing

If the identity is for a website we are building, the site design is already included. This page is for the identity itself — logo, colour and type system, guidelines, print — which stands on its own whether or not there is a site. The website's own layouts, images and on-page SEO come with the build. See what a web build covers.
