AI Receptionist

How much does an AI receptionist cost? An AI agent that answers your business line 24/7 — how it works. For a virtual receptionist pricing comparison: a front-desk hire runs $2,500–3,500 a month, works business hours, and takes one call at a time. This doesn't.

Each tier includes everything in the tier before it — AI receptionist cost per month starts at $199 on Starter. Minutes beyond your plan bill at a flat per-minute rate, stated on your order form before you sign — never a surprise on the invoice.

Pricing questions

Is there an AI receptionist setup fee, and what does it cover?

Yes. The AI receptionist setup fee covers custom voice tuning, integrations with your calendar or CRM, and a call flow scripted specifically for your business. Nothing we launch is a template — the setup fee is the bespoke work that makes the agent sound like yours.

Can I change or cancel my plan?

Recurring plans have a 3-month minimum, then run month to month. You can move up or down a tier at any billing cycle.

What happens if we exceed the included minutes?

Minutes beyond your plan bill at a flat per-minute overage rate stated on your order form. Calls are never cut off.

Will callers know they're talking to AI?

Yes. The agent introduces itself as an AI assistant and announces call recording at pickup. Callers who ask for a person are transferred immediately.

How long until it's live?

Kickoff is within 3 business days of signing. Most AI receptionist lines go live within two to three weeks; websites launch on the timeline agreed at scoping.

Do I need to book a call before I can see pricing?

No — every price, tier, and inclusion is on this page already; that's the point of publishing it instead of hiding it behind a form. The free 30-minute consultation exists to help you pick between tiers or confirm "none of them yet," not to reveal a number we're not showing here.

How does AI receptionist cost compare to hiring a human receptionist?

A front-desk hire runs $2,500–$3,500 a month, works business hours, and handles one call at a time. The AI receptionist starts at $199/month on Starter, runs 24/7, and Professional handles 5 calls at once. It's not a like-for-like replacement in every situation, but the cost gap is real.

What's the difference between the AI Receptionist and SMS & Chat plans — do I need both?

The AI Receptionist answers phone calls; SMS & Chat is the same engine on text — SMS and a web chat widget. Plenty of businesses only need one; the Practice Complete bundle exists for the ones (mainly medical, dental, and legal) getting meaningful volume through both channels who want one setup instead of two.

Is there a cheaper option if I just need lead capture, not phone answering?

SMS & Chat Basic starts at $149/month for FAQ replies, hours, location, and a web chat widget — no call-answering minutes or concurrent-call capacity to pay for, since it's text-only.

Can I change plans or cancel after signing up?

Recurring plans (AI Receptionist, SMS & Chat) carry a 3-month minimum, then run month to month — you can move up or down a tier at any billing cycle after that. Websites are a one-time fee, not a recurring plan, so there's no minimum term attached to the build itself.

Does the website price include ongoing SEO, or just on-page SEO at launch?

On-page SEO — titles, meta descriptions, site structure — is part of the build, included once in every tier's one-time price. Ongoing content work like added blog posts is separate and priced à la carte ($200 each); this page doesn't sell recurring SEO as a service.

What happens to hosting after the first year that's included?

The one-time price covers hosting for the first year. What carries into year two isn't spelled out line-by-line here, but every website tier lists a monthly Care Plan ($99 / $249 / $499) — that's the ongoing line for keeping a site live, updated, and supported past the included year, not a separate hosting bill you have to negotiate.

Is the Practice Complete bundle actually cheaper than buying the pieces separately?

Yes, on both setup and the monthly rate — bundling the website, AI Receptionist Professional, and SMS Business into one engagement costs less than paying full price for each at their standalone tiers, since the setup work overlaps instead of being billed three separate times by three separate vendors.

What happens when I click "Start" on a plan — is checkout live?

It tries Stripe checkout first. If that's not switched on yet for a given plan, you're taken to the booking section instead, with a note on what you clicked — never a dead link. Message us and mention the plan and we'll set it up directly.

Do you offer a refund if it's not working out?

The plain-English terms on this page cover the shape of it — bespoke setup work, a 3-month minimum on recurring plans, kickoff within 3 business days. Full refund terms live in the linked refund policy, not repeated here.

Is there a contract for the website build, separate from the AI receptionist plans?

No — websites are a one-time fee, not a recurring plan, so the 3-month minimum that applies to AI Receptionist and SMS & Chat doesn't apply to a site build. The only ongoing piece is the optional monthly Care Plan, which you can also choose not to take.
