A Reels editing service built to hold attention.

We're a DaVinci Resolve video editor for hire, cutting long-form, shorts, and ads with a full color grade and sound mix. For brands and creators whose footage deserves better than a template. The result is video people actually finish.

What's included

  • A story-first edit — structure and pacing decided before effects, so the cut works with the sound off.
  • Color grade in DaVinci Resolve — a consistent look across every shot and every video.
  • Motion graphics and titles in After Effects — made for your brand, not dropped from a pack.
  • Sound cleanup and mix — dialogue you can hear, music that sits under it.
  • Exports per platform — 16:9, 9:16, and 1:1, at the specs each platform wants.
  • Revision rounds in the scope — agreed up front, so feedback is a loop, not a meter.

Pricing

Basic

Single Reel

from $500

One edit, cut clean and ready to post.

Standard — most popular

Reel Pack (6)

from $1,500

Six reels — where most businesses land for a steady posting rhythm.

Pro

Monthly Content

from $3,500/mo

15 reels a month — a running content pipeline, not one-off edits.

Short-form video editing pricing across three tiers — Single Reel, Reel Pack, and Monthly Content. The top tier is a monthly video editing retainer built for a running content pipeline. Anchored on the published video ad creative rate; footage volume and finish level move the final number. Prices in USD. Send a brief for a fixed quote within 24 hours.

Selected Work

No shipped video work to show yet. We would rather say that than fill this space with stock reels that were never ours. What we can show is the rest of the studio's work — sites, apps and an AI assistant, all real and all with a case study behind them.

Questions

What do you need from me to start?

Your footage, and one sentence on what the video needs to do — sell, teach, or hold attention. We handle selection, structure, grade, and sound from there. A reference video you like helps but isn't required.

Can you cut shorts and reels from long-form?

Yes. One long-form edit can become a set of vertical clips, each cut to stand alone — not just cropped excerpts. We deliver 16:9, 9:16, and 1:1 as your platforms need.

How do revisions work?

Revision rounds are agreed in the scope before we start, so there's no meter running. You give timestamped notes; we return a numbered cut. It's a calm loop, not a negotiation.

What's the typical turnaround?

It depends on footage volume and finish level — a talking-head edit and a graded brand film are different jobs. We commit to a delivery date in the scope and hold it.

How much does video editing cost for a single video?

Three tiers on this page — from $500 for one edit (Single Reel), from $1,500 for a six-video batch (Reel Pack), or from $3,500/month for a running 15-reel pipeline (Monthly Content). Where you land depends on footage volume and finish level — send a brief for an exact number within 24 hours.

Should I hire a freelance video editor or a service like this?

For a single one-off video, a freelancer can work fine. Once you're publishing on a schedule — six reels, fifteen a month — a service with defined revision rounds, a committed delivery date, and a consistent grade across every video holds up better than managing an individual's calendar. That's the gap between the Single Reel tier and the Reel Pack / Monthly Content tiers.

What's the difference between the Reel Pack and Monthly Content tiers, and which do I need?

Reel Pack is six edits — a fixed batch for a project or a launch. Monthly Content is 15 reels a month, run as an ongoing pipeline for brands publishing on a real cadence. Most businesses start with a Reel Pack to test the workflow, then move to Monthly Content once posting becomes routine.

Do you edit long-form YouTube videos too, or only short-form reels?

Yes — the service covers long-form, shorts, and ads, all cut in DaVinci Resolve with a full color grade. A talking-head long-form edit and a 30-second ad are different jobs with different pricing, which is why the exact number comes from a brief, not a flat rate.

Do you shoot the video, or only edit footage I already have?

This is a post-production service — we edit what you send. If you don't have footage yet, get in touch before you shoot; a five-minute conversation about the goal (sell, teach, or hold attention) up front saves reshoots later.

What video editing software do you use?

DaVinci Resolve for the cut and color grade, After Effects for motion graphics and titles. Resolve grew out of Hollywood color-grading work, which is why the grade holds up rather than reading like a preset filter.

Do you add captions and on-screen text for social media?

Yes — captions and on-screen text are part of the motion graphics and titles work in After Effects, built for your brand rather than dropped in from a template pack, and cut to the specs each platform export needs (16:9, 9:16, 1:1).

Do I keep the rights to the footage and the final edit?

Your footage is yours; we're editing it, not acquiring it. The final export you receive is yours to publish and reuse — any specifics beyond that are covered in the scope agreed before we start.

Do you handle music licensing for the videos?

We mix and balance whatever audio and music you provide as part of the sound cleanup and mix. Sourcing a licensed track isn't listed as an included service on this page — if you need one, flag it in your brief and we'll fold it into the scope.

How much footage should I send for one edit?

Send everything usable, not just your favorite takes — more raw material gives more to build a story from, not less. There's no minimum; a single relevant clip can become a video if that's genuinely what you have.

Is $500 a lot to pay for one Reel?

For one raw clip cut with text overlays, you can pay less elsewhere. For a story-first edit with a color grade, custom motion graphics, and a sound mix — built to be watched to the end rather than scrolled past — $500 is the entry point of what that costs to do properly, which is why the Reel Pack and Monthly Content tiers exist for anyone posting regularly.

What if I need more than 15 reels in a month?

Monthly Content is scoped for 15; if your posting schedule runs heavier than that, say so in the brief and we'll quote the difference rather than force you into two overlapping plans.
