Herbal Gold — a storefront in two languages.
An herbal wellness brand selling to a cash-on-delivery market. We built an English–Urdu storefront with COD and WhatsApp checkout — no card wall between the customer and the order.
The problem
Herbal Gold's customers shop in Urdu as often as English, and most of them don't pay by card — cash on delivery is the norm. A standard e-commerce template fails that market twice: it speaks one language, and its checkout assumes a credit card.
Every extra step between "I want this" and "it's ordered" costs a sale. The brief was to remove the steps, in both languages.
What we built
A bilingual storefront on React and Shopify. English and Urdu are equal citizens — real Nastaliq type, right-to-left layout, and translated product content, not just swapped labels.
Checkout without a card wall. Cash on delivery as a first-class path, and WhatsApp checkout for customers who'd rather confirm the order in a conversation — the way this market already buys.
